Deleting your Kaitiaki NZ account
You can permanently delete your account and data at any time.
In the app
- Open Settings.
- Tap Password & account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your profile, observations, photos, identifications, favourites, traps and trap checks, and any observations still waiting on your device.
Reports you made are kept for moderation but are no longer linked to you. Species you added from iNaturalist stay in the guide, without your name.
Can't get into the app?
Email kaitiakinzbusiness@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account.
